“I use Dasung's e-ink monitor (Paperlike Pro) daily . A mouse cursor is fully usable. You can even watch videos on that thing. Of course, the refresh rate is far from perfect, but its performance is acceptable. I code on it, mainly.”— Funes- · 2020 · HN

“If this were a 10" 3G color eInk table instead it would be perfect for browsing, emailing and terminal based programming on the go. I would absolutely love such a device...”— mtrimpe · 2012 · HN

“I would love to see what apps would be produced if e-ink devices became an important platform. I really think about 80% or the apps I use could be remade for e-ink without losing much functionality. Forced simplicity is always interesting. Kind of a "didn't have the time to write”— netcan · 2012 · HN

“e-ink displays refresh rather slowly. My Kindle is slow to page refresh when I use the built-in browser. I'm assuming that that flicker would become progressively worse as the displays become larger.”— CyberFonic · 2017 · HN

“There is the Onyx Book Max which is a 13.3" grayscale Android tablet with an e-ink display. Which is kinda "cheap" with around $750 compared to other large e-ink devices. I use it to read PDFs and take notes with a stylus pen. https://www.amazon.com/Onyx-Max-13-3-Flexible-Handwri”— eicnix · 2017 · HN

“I also prefer an e-ink reader for reading. Still using the same Kindle Touch that I bought used probably 5 years ago. Probably charge it once a month, and don't have to worry about blue light before bed.”— trey-jones · 2018 · HN

“Has anyone held it in their hands? How does the screen compare to a 300dpi pearl eink like aura one or Oasis? I love my Kobo aura one, but I think one of the reasons it is so great is the 300dpi screen.”— polskibus · 2018 · HN
