“I’m quite happy with my Anker noise cancelling headphones. They were ~$50. I haven’t tried the Bose ones that are the consensus best, but somehow I doubt they’re 6x better.”— remyp · 2019 · HN

“I use Sennheiser HD25s - not noise cancelling, but if I have music on I can hear absolutely nothing going on around me. It's actually a little bit spooky (and often makes me jump) if I'm working and someone comes into the room behind me then comes into my field of vision, or some”— iamben · 2013 · HN

“This doesn't match my experience at all. Bose noise cancelling is excellent and completely blocks out my coworkers' voices. At home I use Beyers and Sennheisers because I enjoy the audio quality, but at work these headphones are as essential to me as my keyboard and mouse.”— skylark · 2017 · HN

“I would highly recommend Bose QC20 in ear. I have the over ear version and while mine may excel in the noise cancellation department, the QC20 beats mine out of the water in terms of noise blocking overall.”— sushid · 2017 · HN

“I also have the Bose QuietComfort 30 and I've been using them every day for everything, not only work. I am super happy with how comfortable they are, and while I don't think the noise cancelling is really important working from home, I really enjoy it when I am in a noisy enviro”— Philomath · 2017 · HN

“sennheiser 598. Forget that they are on, sound good enough. For noise cancelling, I use the bose quiet comfort.”— Shanbo · 2017 · HN

“My rating is based on 1) Noise Cancellation quality 2) Price 3) Battery Life Been using it for 3 years now, no complaints (one for office and other for home) https://www.amazon.com/Plantronics-BackBeat-PRO-Special-Canc... https://www.amazon.com/Plantronics-BackBeat-Wireless-Cance”— conikeec · 2017 · HN
