“Love my thinkpad, but is miss my ibook, dead after 5 years of faithful service. I had a real aversion to any laptop not made by apple but this the t61 has been a great laptop since I got it a month or so ago.”— safetytrick · 2008 · HN

“I would get new Macbook Pro or ThinkPad X301 if I wasn't using OS X. Both have 1440x900 resolution. For the amount of time I use my laptop I budget more $ then use it for ~2 years.”— quellhorst · 2008 · HN

“I use a standalone ThinkPad keyboard (complete w/ pointer nub) and find it very comfortable. It's also nice and compact since it doesn't include a number pad.”— jbarham · 2010 · HN

“I'm more or less happy on a Mac when I use one, but the thinkpad keyboard is actually one of the biggest reasons I use linux. I can't give up the trackpoint.”— miniatureape · 2011 · HN

“I love my Thinkpad. Can't do without its trackpoint (I hear more laptops have them now). It is extremely strong. I dropped my laptop from 6-7 ft and nothing happened. It has a protection layer behind the screen.”— sandipagr · 2011 · HN
